Richard has Master of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing from the University of New South Wales. He started his career as a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse & Co. He then joined Thai Airways International as Head of Sales and Marketing for Australia and New Zealand. He went on to log over 35 years of experience in the aviation industry working with Qantas, British Airways, and Philippine Airlines in various capacities involving sales, marketing, and strategic planning.
His most recent engagements include:
- Strategic plan for a new airline
- Turnaround plans for an existing airline that transformed the airline’s operations from an operating loss of USD300M to a profit of USD 65M in just 6 months
- Strategic due diligence
- Development of a new LCC including strategy and launch support
- Commercial and business plan for an existing airline operation
- Network and fleet analysis
- Provide short-term revenue generating initiatives to a group to stimulate business in the short-term
